Weasel himself has finally spoken out after the messy accident from his wife Sandra Teta that left him with a broken leg when she allegedly knocked him down outside Shan’s Bar in Munyonyo after a heated argument.

Reports say Weasel had stepped in front of the car she was driving, and things went south real quick. The singer ended up in Nsambya Hospital, underwent surgery, and is still nursing serious injuries.

Police later picked up Sandra Teta and detained her at Kabalagala Police Station on charges of attempted murder, but she’s since been released on bond. Surprisingly, she’s now been spotted right at Nsambya Hospital, tending to the same man she was accused of injuring. Sources revealed that it took a high-level family meeting — chaired by Chameleone and attended by parents from both sides — for tempers to cool.

Sandra reportedly broke down, explained she acted out of emotions, apologised to Weasel and the entire Mayanja family, and was forgiven on the spot. Still, police insist the case isn’t going anywhere, because the state can still pursue it.

Now, breaking his silence, Weasel has penned an emotional statement to his fans, friends, and family.

“We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the outpouring of love and well-wishes following my recent accident. Despite the challenges, my family and I are doing well, and I am on the road to surgery and full recovery,” he wrote.

He went on to thank everyone for the kindness, prayers, and support they’ve shown during this time, promising to come back “stronger and better” once he’s fully healed.

For now, both Weasel and Sandra are putting the focus on his recovery — but with the attempted murder charges still hanging in the air, this Munyonyo saga might not be over just yet.
