A video clip circulating online has got Ugandans talking after it showed Pastor Robert Kayanja commanding strong winds that had disrupted a Sunday service at his church to calm down and immediately the winds stopped
In the viral footage, Pastor Kayanja is seen addressing the congregation as powerful winds blow through the church premises, interrupting the service. Calmly but firmly, he commands the winds to be still.
Seconds later, according to those present and as captured in the clip, the intensity of the winds reduces before becoming completely calm, allowing the service to continue.
The video has since attracted massive attention online, with many believers interpreting the moment as a sign of divine authority and spiritual power. Supporters say the incident is proof that Pastor Kayanja is deeply anointed, with some claiming it demonstrates the level of divine blessings upon him even to the extent of commanding nature itself.
“This is not normal. Only a man of God filled with power can speak and nature listens,” one commenter wrote, while others shared Bible verses referencing Jesus calming the storm to support their views.
However, as expected, the clip has also fueled debate, with skeptics arguing that the change in weather could have been coincidental and cautioning against drawing supernatural conclusions from short video snippets.
