What was meant to be a picture-perfect wedding for gospel stars Levixone and Desire Luzinda turned dramatic after the bride fainted mid-ceremony raising alot of questions from onlookers.
The couple, who had earlier wowed fans with their colourful yet intimate wedding at Serena Kigo Fountain Area, were down on their knees during a prayer session when Desire suddenly fell backwards, collapsing in her white gown and open veil.
For a moment, the glamorous wedding turned into panic as family, friends and even Levixone himself rushed to lift her up.
Guests were left whispering and side-eyeing each other, wondering what could have caused the fainting. Was it nerves? Exhaustion? Or something deeper? The questions are still hanging, but thankfully she was quickly attended to and recovered enough to continue with the ceremony.
The wedding itself was presided over by Apostle Grace Lubega of Phaneroo Ministries and kept deliberately private, with only close family and a few friends present. Desire’s sister stood by her as matron of honour, while Levixone had Andrew Kyamagero as his best man. The couple later held a classy reception with food, speeches, music and plenty of dancing — though Desire’s fainting remained the biggest talking point of the day.
After all the engagement parties, bridal showers and the kwanjula, this wedding was supposed to be the fairytale ending — and it still is — but that fainting moment has left many speculations.
