Singer Victor Ruz has come out of hiding to finally say sorry to his ex, Patricia Nabakooza, after that viral leaked videos scandal from 2024 that almost crashed the internet and left the two not talking any more.
In an emotional moment during his interview on Sanyuka TV, the “Love Legend” crooner admitted that yes, the video was real, yes, they were an item (no shock there)—and yes, it was leaked by someone close to him in a mad twist of betrayal.
“It’s true, we were lovers,” Victor said, with his heart on the table. “The video leaked after someone I had issues with cloned my phone. He tried to blackmail me, threatened to release even more stuff I didn’t know he had access to.”
Imagine your own phone becoming your enemy?
According to Victor, the whole thing was not planned, not for clout, and definitely not consented to. And when the drama exploded online, Patricia pulled away, and he respected her decision.

“She had her own plans and this disorganised her. I didn’t get a chance to apologise properly. She asked for space and I gave it to her.”
But now, months later, he’s finally speaking to her publicly:
“Patricia, my love, my best friend, I’m very sorry for all that happened. It wasn’t me. It was people who tried to blackmail me.”
The heartbreak is heartbreak-ing, but fans are divided. Some say this was long overdue, others think it’s just another PR stunt with emotional seasoning.

Should they reconnect? Should she forgive? Or is this apology just too little, too late?
