The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has finally released the 2025 UACE results for the 165,172 candidates that sat last year, with overall performance improving and a record 68% passing and 113,291 students qualifying for university.
The event was officiated by the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Kataaha Museveni at State Lodge, Nakasero.
It has also been revealed that Female students outperformed males proportionally in most humanities, Mathematics, Physics, and other key subjects, while showing lower failure rates overall.
Officials praised expanded access and steady standards but called for more balanced STEM participation to close lingering gender gaps.
