The Uganda Prisons Service has put up a UGX. 10 million reward for anyone who provides credible information that leads to the arrest of Warden Anguyo Moses, who is wanted over a deadly shooting at Kiboga Government Prison.
On February 23, Warder Anguyo Moses allegedly shot his superiors at Kiboga Government Prison, 70 kilometers northwest of Kampala, killing Deputy Officer in Charge Hope Catherine, senior officer Bright Akishuri, Sarah Ayebare, and one-year-old Salson Nuwagaba from a stray bullet.
The Commissioner General of Prisons Johnson Byabashaija in a statement on Monday said the bounty would be given to anyone who helps security agencies locate the suspect.
Anguyo, a prison warder under number 13544, is the prime suspect in a fatal shooting that left four people dead.
Authorities warn Anguyo is armed and dangerous, with a manhunt ongoing; tips can be given confidentially via police at 999 or the prisons toll-free line.
