Just as everyone is still reeling from the horrific murder of four toddlers at a Ggaba daycare, a distressed mother has come out with chilling allegations against the main suspect, Okello Christopher Onyum.
The woman claims Onyum previously murdered her child and walked free, raising serious questions about whether the tragedy could have been prevented.
Her claims have sparked fresh public anger, with many Ugandans now demanding answers over how a suspect linked to such a past could allegedly slip through the system.
According to the mother, authorities at the time failed to deliver justice, and she now believes her child’s case may have been ignored or mishandled.
These allegations come in the wake of the April 2nd attack at Ggaba Daycare Centre in Makindye, where four toddlers were brutally stabbed to death — a crime that shocked the entire nation.

Police have since confirmed they are taking the woman’s claims seriously.
“We are investigating that matter too,” authorities said, indicating that the allegations could now form part of the broader case being compiled against Onyum.
Sources say investigators are working to finalize the file for submission to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), which will determine the next legal steps.
Meanwhile, pressure continues to mount on law enforcement to fully account for the suspect’s past and ensure no prior warning signs were overlooked.

Flo from Bwaise says she was the first victim of Christopher Okello Onyum. Her one-year-old son, Freeman, was brutally killed, and her case (file 003/19) was ignored because she is poor.
