Ugandan-born singer and songwriter YangJ Sound is back with a brand-new release thatās already tugging on heartstringsĀ called “Far Away,” dropped this week and is quickly becoming a love anthem for many in long-distance relationships.
Real name Samuel Naminya Egesa, YangJ hails from Kampala but is currently based in Sweden, where he’s been steadily making a name in the international Afrobeat and R&B scene.
Blending Afrobeat, Afro Zouk, Dancehall, and R&B pop, YangJās style is fresh, emotional, and full of depthāand “Far Away” is no exception. The new single paints a touching picture of love strained by distance, with YangJ singing about a beautiful woman he cherishes but canāt be with.
