Media personality and pastor’s wife Susan Makula Bujjingo is overjoyed with pride after being named one of Uganda’s 10 new women’s netball ambassadors by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA).
In a special event held at the Salt Media headquarters in Lungujja, FUFA officials presented Susan with the newly unveiled netball trophy, officially ushering her into the ambassadorial role meant to promote and uplift women’s netball in the country.
Susan, who is the wife of House of Prayer Ministries’ lead pastor Aloysius Bugingo, quickly took to her social media platforms to express her excitement and commitment:
“As The New Netball Ambassador, Ugandan NetBall sport Will Flourish!!
Thank you @fufa.”
The announcement has stirred conversations online, with fans and followers congratulating her for stepping into a position that aims to empower women through sports. Her influential public presence and large following are expected to give a huge boost to the visibility and development of netball across Uganda.
This new ambassadorial initiative by FUFA is part of a broader effort to revamp and promote women’s sports, particularly netball, by involving high-profile figures and creating more engagement at the grassroots level.
