The rift between former socialite best friends Katrina Nilzero and Sheila Gashumba has dramatically escalated, with Nilzero launching a new attack during a recent interview, dismissing Gashumba as “something useless” in her life like a dummy.
Nilzero was directly asked about the status of her relationship with Gashumba and whether there was any hope for a future reunion between the once-inseparable duo. Her response was unequivocal and dismissive.
“I am happy the way I am,” Nilzero stated. “I see Sheila Gashumba like a dummy, she means nothing to me.”
She asserted that she has successfully moved past the friendship, citing her recent personal and business achievements as evidence of her upward trajectory.
“I bought a house a few months ago and have now launched my own fashion store called Katrina Fashion Finds so I need nothing from Sheila,” she explained.
Nilzero explicitly stated that she had outgrown Gashumba and could no longer be friends with her, delivering the ultimate burn by comparing her former best friend to a mere “clothing dummy/mannequin.”
While the pair were famously close friends for years, it has been widely rumoured that their falling out was caused by a man, although this remains an unconfirmed rumour without factual evidence.
Nilzero’s public statement confirms that any chances of the two reconciling appear completely closed, positioning the former friends as bitter rivals in the Ugandan social scene.
