Patrick Bitature’s Son Marvin ‘Boyo’ Dead

Social media has been covered with the heartbreaking news on Thursday, July 10, 2025 of tycoon Patrick Bitature’s son, Marvin Beine ‘Boyo’ Bitature, who was confirmed dead. He was only 35.

The announcement came from the Bitature family in a brief but deeply emotional statement:

“With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son Marvin Beine ‘Boyo’ Bitature — loving father, husband, and brother. We celebrate his life, love and the lasting mark he left on all who knew and loved him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.”

Details surrounding his cause of death remain private, and the family has asked for space to grieve.

Who was Marvin ‘Boyo’?

Born on September 7, 1989, Marvin was known in elite circles not just as the heir to one of Uganda’s most powerful business families, but also as a charming, low-key figure — a father, husband, brother, and friend to many. Friends say he was grounded despite his upbringing, and quietly played his part in the family empire and community.
