Veteran singer Omulangira Suuna has come out and ranted about years of betrayal from some of the biggest names in the industry despite being behind the Goodlyfe hit songs, Salim Saleh Projects and supporting Bobi Wine.

The singer and producer didn’t hold back as he opened old wounds and pointed fingers at everyone he says used him, dumped him and later pretended like he never existed.

Suuna said the story of Goodlyfe has been told wrongly for years. According to him, it wasn’t a duo at the start but it was a trio. He claims he was part of the foundation with Radio and Weasel, working with them as fellow artistes under the Goodlyfe. He said he produced their first 10 hit songs under Maureen Studios for free, including Lwaki Onnumya, Nakudata, Zuena and the early bangers that turned the group into national stars. Suuna insists he was a key player in the rise of Goodlyfe but was later sidelined and erased from the narrative.

Things didn’t stop there. Suuna said he was betrayed again when he produced and sang a full album about Operation Wealth Creation, a project he believed would change lives. He said Gen. Salim Saleh turned his back on him and never supported the project after all the work he put in. To Suuna, it felt like being used and dumped all over again.

He also said that Bobi Wine had been a loyal fan from the early days, only for the friendship to fall apart once Bobi became a national figure. Suuna said the disappointment hit him hard because he expected better from someone he had supported since the beginning.
