The world’s most talked-about Ugandan festival, Nyege Nyege is celebrating 10 years of madness, culture, and unforgettable music moments from November 20th–23rd, 2025 at Kalagala Falls in Kangulumira under the theme ‘Ekyigunda Ky’omuliro’ – The Gathering of the Flame.
The lineup is already looking insane. Skrillex (USA) is touching down in Uganda for the first time ever! Add Flowdan (UK), Tash LC (UK), Tanzania’s DJ Travella, Kenya’s Boutross, Colombia’s Bclip, and Dylan Brady (USA) — plus 300+ more acts across amapiano, dancehall, hip hop, live bands, traditional African sounds… name it, it’s there. And that’s just phase one. The second lineup drop will feature our own Ugandan DJs and performers.
But Nyege Nyege isn’t just about the music anymore. The new home at Kalagala Falls will have everything — rafting, bungee jumping, kayaking, adventure camps, and cultural sites all rolled into one. Imagine turning up all night then waking up to raft on the Nile? Only Nyege Nyege pulls that off.
And because it’s the 10th anniversary, the organizers are going all out. Expect a fashion takeover with regional designers, a film program with some of Africa’s dopest short films, and even the first-ever African Electronic Music Conference happening right there. The world is literally watching Uganda, people.
It’s a double celebration! Uganda Waragi turns 60 and is teaming up with Nyege Nyege for a special stage experience. Think cocktails, crazy activations, and performances dedicated to UG’s spirit.
For those asking, “who’s bringing this magic?” It’s the usual suspects — Talent Africa Group with Aly Allibhai steering the ship, alongside Nyege Nyege’s original founders. Plus, UTB and the Ministry of Tourism are fully backing it, pushing Uganda as the ultimate culture and adventure hub.
