Businesswoman Nagawa Irene of Mirembe Beddings and Curtains has assured her now ex-lover Ivan Segujja that she has no intentions of fighting over property or business.
According to sources close to the situation, Mirembe made it clear that despite their public breakup, she will not claim any of the businesses or assets they built together during their relationship.
This comes just days after the two officially went public with their separation.
Mirembe had earlier accused Segujja of domestic violence, claiming he allegedly beat her multiple times over issues as small as being on phone late at night while they were in the bedroom.
The allegations shocked many, especially given the couple’s previously admired lifestyle and business partnership.
Meanwhile, things got even more emotional online after a leaked audio surfaced.
In the clip, Segujja is reportedly heard crying and pleading with Mirembe to reconsider her decision and save the relationship.
But Mirembe stood her ground and reportedly said she was “tired of suffering,” making it clear that she had reached her limit.
Despite living together for years, the two reportedly did not have any children together something that has now become part of the online conversation, with social media “in-laws” throwing in all sorts of opinions and wild predictions.
For now, it looks like Mirembe has chosen peace over property… and a fresh start over the past.
