Singer Melody Uganda has poured his heart out after the heartbreaking loss of his twins. In an emotional post, he expressed gratitude to his fiancée — the mother of the twins — for her strength and courage, carrying the babies for nine months despite the pain.
He noted that although their time on earth was brief, their memory will live on, especially with Babirye, one of the twins who had bonded deeply with the mother.
“Mother to ma twins, I want you to know that I’m deeply grateful for the gift of our twins, brief as their time was on Earth. Your strength and courage holding them for 9 months in the face of unimaginable pain inspired me. Though they’re no longer with us, their memory will still live on, mostly Babirye with whom you shared a lot. I just want to let you know that you’re not alone in your grief; I’m here for you, and I want to support you emotionally through this difficult time.”
For those who may not know, Melody (real name Kigozi Melody) is one of Uganda’s underrated but solid vocalists, known for timeless hits like Nkole Ki, Ndi Single, and Sirinda Bide. He started out with the Dream Gals and has since built a steady career with both solo projects and collaborations.
