Singer Hajarah Namukwaya, popularly known as Spice Diana, has confirmed that she parted ways with her longtime manager Roger of Source Management nearly a year ago, ending a decade-long working relationship.
The revelation puts to rest months of speculation within the entertainment industry about the status of the partnership that played a key role in shaping Spice Diana’s music career.
Speaking during a phone interview on local radio, the singer said she deliberately chose to keep the separation private, explaining that she does not make public announcements under pressure.
“I think I may have taken a long time to announce it because I’m not the kind of person who just jumps on anything because of pressure. It is true I have not worked with him for almost a year now,” she said.
Spice Diana noted that despite the split, there is no bad blood between her and her former manager. She explained that they remain in contact, especially regarding ongoing matters and deals that still pass through him.
“And we are good; we communicate if we have to because there are other things that go through him,” she added.

The singer also revealed that she is currently working with a new management team, which she plans to officially introduce to her fans in the near future. However, she clarified that the team is not entirely new, as they had already been part of her operations even when Roger was still her manager.
“It is the same team that we have been working with, even when Roger was still my manager. He is no longer my manager, but the communication is still there about things we need to talk about,” Spice Diana said.
Spice Diana rose to prominence under Source Management, releasing a string of hit songs that cemented her position as one of Uganda’s leading female artistes.
