Controversial TikToker and outspoken content creator Musuuza Juma aka Madubara has finally been released from Luzira Prison after spending one year behind bars over remarks about Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
Madubara, who rose to fame for his fearless social media commentary, was arrested and detained after publicly questioning Muhoozi’s fitness to lead Uganda, claiming he was “always drunk.” Authorities accused him of incitement and defamation, a move that sparked debate among his followers and human rights activists.
Following his release, Madubara wasted no time as he paid a visit to musician King Saha, who has been unwell and recovering at his home in Nakawuka. Photos and videos of the visit have already started making rounds online, showing the two embracing and sharing light moments.

Sources close to Madubara say he’s still in pain and in need of medical attention after being in prison for all those months even though in the circulating videos he looked fine.
Before his release, Madubara had been imprisoned alongside others at Kigo Prison, including Angulibo Siraje, Andama Hamza, Angodri, Buga Ratib, Kizito Issa, Idah, and Pastor Gordon.
