Uganda is about to shine brighter on the world map once again with Leyna Kagere, the powerful young vocalist who made history as the first East African artist to receive the Golden Buzzer on East Africa’s Got Talent, is heading to Russia for the ‘Our Generation’ Music Contest 2025 in Moscow.
According to reports gathered by Blizz Uganda, Leyna is not just going to sing her heart out in Moscow, she’s bringing fire with her brand-new single “Dreamers” which she released a few days ago and already performing well on different streaming platforms.
Dreamers is a song written in two languages, Luganda and English with an urban-folk feel that mixes inspirational lyrics with soul-stirring African chants ilike “Ntanda”. The track speaks about resilience, faith, and that unshakeable hope we all carry when chasing dreams. It’s basically a musical prayer for every hustler, every youth, every go-getter who believes tomorrow can be better.

Leyna’s golden voice, the same one that once left judges speechless, will now be carrying Uganda’s story to the world stage as she will be soinging “Dreamers.”
Uganda has talent, East Africa has power, and Leyna Kagere is proof.
