Leader of Opposition Joel Besekezi Ssenyonyi has marked another milestone in his academic and public service journey after graduating with a Master’s Degree in Organisational Leadership and Management from Uganda Christian University (UCU).
Accompanied by his wife Febress and mother, Ssenyonyi attended UCU’s 26th graduation ceremony held earlier today.
Taking to his socials, the Nakawa West MP expressed gratitude to God for the achievement and emphasized the value of lifelong learning:
“Thanking God for yet another academic qualification attained today, a Masters in Organisational Leadership and Management, from Uganda Christian University (UCU).”
Ssenyonyi revealed that his thesis focused on “Perspectives on Corruption, and Addressing Its Effect on Service Delivery: The Case of Banda Parish in Nakawa West Constituency.” The study reflects his broader legislative and oversight work in Parliament, particularly around governance and accountability.
This latest academic achievement follows last year’s graduation, when he earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre (LDC).
The ceremony was filled with celebration and pride, with many congratulating Ssenyonyi for balancing public service, leadership, and academics.
