Bebe Cool is not ready to hearr anyone questioning his pockets. The Gagamel boss recently revealed that he splashed over $700,000 on producing his new 16-track album, Break The Chains, and he’s ready to show proof to anyone doubting.
Speaking during an interview on NRG Radio, Bebe made it clear that he’s aware of the talk online, with some people wondering if that amount even makes sense for a Ugandan album. But for Bebe, it’s nothing but receipts and professionalism all the way.
“I have seen people doubting the money I have put in my album, but I will ask Bushingtone to release all screenshots of the budget,” he confidently said.
Break The Chains is already performing well and ready to be one of the biggest projects of his career. He teamed up with producer Bushingtone, who also happens to be his brother-in-law, to make sure everything sounds premium. From what we’ve heard so far, the project is solid.
Still, internet people can’t believe a Ugandan artist can throw around such money for an album, but Bebe says everything was done properly, with quality in mind.
The singer is betting big — not just on Uganda, but on Africa and the global music scene. Knowing Bebe, he’s going to shout about this album until either it wins or we all lose hearing.
