Singer Chosen Becky has opened up about her fertility struggles and revealed that she is naturally unresponsive to family planning methods, when she’s chewed she gets pregnant right away.
Becky shared her deeply personal experience during a TikTok live session, following a similar confession made by Nalongo Lewis, who recently told media personality Ruth Kalibbala that she’s “99.9% fertile” and no method of family planning has ever worked for her.
For Becky, the journey started in 2020 after the birth of her first child, Heather. Five months into motherhood, she returned to the hospital to explore family planning options to help space out childbirth. After several consultations, doctors recommended an IUD, saying it was one of the most reliable methods.
But three months later, Becky was pregnant again. Sadly, the pregnancy had to be terminated due to complications commonly associated with pregnancies conceived during active birth control.
“They aborted the second baby because they are naturally dead,” Becky emotionally revealed. “It was so painful—abortion is more painful than childbirth itself, and I have tested both.”
Determined to find a solution, she tried another birth control method. But again, after just three weeks, she was pregnant—only to go through the same heartbreaking process.
On her best friend’s advice, Becky sought help from a reproductive health center. After a thorough check-up, the verdict was clear—she’s naturally very fertile and family planning will never work for her.
“I cried a lot because I thought it was a disability,” she shared. “I called my mum, and she told me she had the same thing. She got her last born at 47 and went into menopause at 54.”
Becky says she found relief after hearing Nalongo Lewis’s story.
“I was like, oh my God, there are many people like me. So if you hear that I’m pregnant, know that I have a man. When I’m not, I’m single. I’ve always said this, and it’s a fact—they told me,” Becky added.
