Ugandan singer Queen Sheebah has confessed openly revealing that she would comfortably accept being in a polygamous marriage, even as wife number 10 as long as the man is there emotionally.
Speaking during an appearance on the “Talk About It” podcast, the 36-year-old artist surprised listeners with her honest views on relationships, marriage, and emotional connection.
According to Queen Karma, romance and physical attention are not the most important things to her in a relationship. Instead, she values mental connection, understanding, honesty, and peace.
“As long as you explain it to me and I visit my co-wives and they are nice. I’m not even joking. I can be number four. I can even be number 10 because it’s not about romance for me,” she said during the discussion.
The singer went on to explain that she would even celebrate a co-wife’s birthday and remain happy in a relationship built on communication and mutual respect.
Queen Karma’s remarks quickly went viral on Ugandan social media, with fans and critics heavily divided over her stance.
Some followers praised the singer for what they described as maturity, emotional intelligence, and honesty about modern relationships, especially within African cultural settings where polygamy still exists in some communities.
Others, however, accused the dancehall singer of contradicting the strong feminist and independent messages she previously promoted throughout her music career and public appearances.
