Minister Phiona Nyamutoro, the State Minister for Minerals has officially declared her bid to run for Nebbi District Woman MP in the upcoming elections—and made the announcement on Mother’s Day.
Taking to her social media, Nyamutoro dropped a campaign poster alongside a heartfelt message:
“Nebbi has mothered many great and significant citizens for our Nation and now it’s time for Her to Shine. Happy Mother’s Day.” Whew! A soft serve with a strong punch.
She’s coming under the NRM ticket and is gearing up to face the current Woman MP Agnes Acibu—also NRM—which means things are about to get interesting in the ruling party.
And of course, her relationship with BET award-winning singer Eddy Kenzo has the public extra tuned in. With entertainment big shots already rallying behind her, Phiona’s political path is lighting up with love and ambition.
