The long-awaited Craig David concert in Kampala—World of Sounds Season 2—has officially been launched today during a press conference held at Noni Vie, hosted by Douglas Lwanga and attended by top performers to share the same stage.
While the UK R&B legend Craig David himself wasn’t physically present, the energy in the room was sky-high as a string of Uganda’s finest stars pulled up in support.
Myko Ouma, Kenneth Mugabi, Vampino, Benon, MC Kats, Victor Ruz, Laika Music, and several others showed face at the presser—and yes, they’re all expected to bless the stage come concert night.
Speaking as the organizer, Bushington promised that even though Craig wasn’t in town yet, fans should brace themselves for a special VIP show, teasing that this will be more than just a concert—it’s a full-on experience.
Set to happen on August 29, 2025, at the lush Sheraton Hotel Gardens, the R&B-themed edition of World of Sounds will be headlined by Craig David, marking his first-ever live performance in Uganda. You already know what that means—expect live renditions of chart-topping classics like 7 Days, Fill Me In, and Walking Away.
Bushington emphasized the vision behind this second season:
“Season 2: R&B Edition is not just a concert, it’s an experience. We’re bringing together global and local talent to create a magical night where music, art, and culture meet.”
