Brig Gen Emmanuel Rwashande has finally silenced his critics who once mocked his education after he officially graduated from Nkumba University today. The outspoken UPDF officer, who recently announced his political ambitions, proudly threw his graduation cap in the air to mark the milestone.
Rwashande, who is also the NRM flag bearer for Rwemiyaga County, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy alongside singer and NRM loyalist Catherine Kusasira, who earned the same qualification.
The two shared their joy online, with Rwashande hinting that this is just the beginning of his bigger political journey. “Education is key. Never stop learning,” he noted, indirectly clapping back at those who used his academic background to downplay his political credibility.
Nkumba University was painted yellow as the NRM family turned up in support of their own, celebrating what many called “a well-deserved victory.”
