Musician Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool continues to expand his global footprint with the premiere of his single Check—featuring Joshua Baraka—on BBC 1Xtra. The track made its debut on DJ Edu’s acclaimed Destination Africa show.
DJ Edu, known for spotlighting Africa’s most promising sounds, gave Check a special refix—injecting it with a sleek, London-style electronic groove that opened it up to new audiences and gave it fresh global appeal.
Check is one of the lead singles off Bebe Cool’s new album Break the Chains, and the BBC debut marks a high point in the artist’s ongoing media campaign across Africa.
