Talent Africa Group, in partnership with Abeeka Band, has announced the highly anticipated Roots & Vibes Concert, an Afro-Caribbean musical experience slated to electrify Kampala on Saturday, May 2, 2026.
The event, unveiled on February 19, promises to fuse the pulsating rhythms of reggae, Afro-roots and dancehall into one high-impact celebration aimed at positioning Kampala as a regional hub for globally relevant Afro-Caribbean cultural events.
Organisers say Roots & Vibes is more than just a concert. It is a curated live-performance experience built around musical excellence, immersive atmosphere and cultural authenticity. The showcase is designed to attract music lovers, creatives and cultural enthusiasts seeking a premium entertainment experience.
Headlining the event is Abeeka Band, widely regarded as one of East Africa’s most vibrant and energetic boy bands. The five-member group; Pages, Kevin, Michael, Producer Allan and Dr. Tre, has built a reputation for dynamic stage presence and genre-blending sound.
Blending Afro-pop, R&B and contemporary influences, Abeeka has carved out a growing fan base across diverse audiences. Organisers describe the band as a cultural movement whose music resonates with urban tastemakers while maintaining global appeal.
In addition to Abeeka’s headline performance, the concert will feature several guest acts, with the full lineup expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
Talent Africa Group says the event is part of a broader vision to elevate Kampala’s entertainment landscape and strengthen cross-cultural musical exchange within East Africa and beyond.
Ticket prices and venue details are expected to be announced soon.
After 5 years of relentless grind, growth, and indelible moments as Abeeka, the wait is finally over.
