Celebrated media personality Faridah Nakazibwe has offered fans a rare update on her life away from the spotlight, confirming that her much-anticipated return is just around the corner — though it won’t be a comeback to television.
Speaking during Bruno K’s viral TikTok Live, Nakazibwe revealed that she’s in the final stretch of a planned break she took to focus on personal priorities, including her family and new business ventures.
“I am finalising with my break, but in less than two months I will be telling them what I’m up to. I don’t want to reveal what’s not ready,” she shared.
Nakazibwe, who gracefully bowed out of her long-standing role at NTV Uganda in 2023 after an impressive 17-year run, has since kept a low profile — choosing peace, privacy, and purpose. In early 2024, she welcomed her baby, Marktoum, and has largely focused on motherhood ever since.
While fans had hoped for her return to the news desk or television hosting, Nakazibwe made it clear she’s charting a different path.
“I am working on something. I had given myself two years and now I am in one and a half years, but I won’t finish it. I am coming, but it’s definitely not TV,” she emphasized.
The news has left fans excited and curious, with many speculating about a possible new brand, foundation, or digital platform under her name. Whatever it is, Faridah’s calm presence and elegance are clearly missed — and her return, in any form, is highly anticipated.
