Controversial Masaka businessman and socialite Emmanuel Lwasa has announced his return to Christianity months after converting to Islam, dumping his recently adopted  name “Acram” and joining Pastor Kakande’s Ministry.

The outspoken socialite had previously shocked many Ugandans when he converted to Islam at Kibuli Mosque, explaining at the time that he wanted to grow spiritually as he battled health complications, including diabetes.

Back then, Lwasa was seen participating in Islamic rituals, dressing in Muslim attire, and openly speaking about his new faith journey.

But in yet another dramatic twist, the businessman now claims a miracle healing experience at the church of Samuel Kakande completely changed his life.

According to Lwasa, he experienced healing from diabetes after attending prayers, something he says convinced him to abandon Islam and recommit his life to Christianity.

The socialite is now reportedly identifying as a born-again Christian and has started distancing himself from his former Islamic lifestyle.

Reports further indicate that Lwasa has been donating away Islamic garments, prayer items, and belongings associated with the religion following his decision to leave the faith.
