Police in Katwe have arrested three suspects linked to a viral video showing a brutal assault at the home of singer Omukunja Atasera when they scaled a perimeter wall before attacking an unidentified person inside the premises.
According to police, the arrests were made during an intelligence-led operation targeting criminal gangs in Makindye Division.
The suspects have been identified as Sali Ethan, also known as “Unruly,” Sali Isaac and Sejongo Isaac.
Authorities say the victim seen in the video has not yet been identified, and their whereabouts remain unknown. Police are now calling on the victim or anyone with information to come forward and assist with investigations.
In a statement, police warned the public against engaging in mob justice and other acts of lawlessness, stressing that such actions will not be tolerated.
Investigations are still ongoing, with security agencies actively hunting for more suspects believed to have been involved in the attack.
