Apostle Reuben Habaasa has come out with a powerful declaration claiming that a worldwide spiritual revival, which he calls the Wind of Change, has already begun in Uganda and started from The New Jerusalem Tent in Kitwe.
According to the preacher, this new movement of God’s word started in Kitwe Town Council, Ruhaama East, Ntungamo District, after the COVID-19 pandemic in 2023. He says the Holy Spirit descended upon the earth in full power, bringing what he describes as a complete transformation similar to the days of Noah, Moses, and Jesus Christ.
Apostle Habaasa revealed that this divine shift will bring healing, deliverance, and restoration to millions of people across the globe. He claims that before the year 2048, about 2.5 billion people will experience what he calls the first resurrection and second birth.

“God, the Creator, is the source of all wisdom! The writings in the Bible help new creatures to acquire the true knowledge about the only true God, the Creator. Reading the scriptures helps us understand the ways of God, our Creator. Those who shall have a share in the first resurrection and receive the second birth are the only children of God on earth in this age.
They shall live on earth as if in heaven, for the earth is an extension of heaven for the children of God. They shall live on earth for the purposes of God to prevail in them and they shall be able to accomplish the assignment they have from God, their Heavenly Father, in this age. They shall never die but rest. But to those who refuse and rebel against God, their Creator, they shall live in hell here on earth and death shall be their final punishment.”- Apostle Reuben Habasa said.
He further said that the Wind of Change will not only affect the Church but also governments and world systems, predicting a move from democracy to a Kingdom system of leadership, changes in education curriculums, and a new kind of global economy.
The Apostle, who leads the Christlordship Ministries International insists that only Jehovah, the Creator, should be worshipped, warning believers against Sunday worship and birthday celebrations, which he describes as “evil practices.”
“I, Reuben, also called Habaasa, am a messenger of God Most High. I warn you the elect: repent and change, and you shall live. Stop those evil practices and gatherings, come and you shall be saved by God, your Creator, whom I serve!”- he added.
He also stated that the Bible is not the final word of God, arguing that “the Creator continues to speak through living prophets.”
Apostle Habaasa concluded his message by calling upon all believers to repent and prepare for the new spiritual age that, he says, has already started moving through nations, tribes, and languages.
