Celebrated music producer Didi has for the first time opened up about his time in rehab, revealing that the experience completely changed his life for the better thanks to Eddy Kenzo who took him and Geosteady who gave him company.
During a recent interview, Didi shared that it was singer Eddy Kenzo who helped him take the step towards recovery. According to him, he personally asked Kenzo to take him to rehab, and the Big Talent boss immediately reached out to Emma Carlos, who facilitated the process.
“My experience in rehab was good. I learned new things and met different people like; soldiers, bishops, fellow musicians, and many others. Everyone had come to get help,” Didi recounted.
He revealed that upon arrival, doctors had to sedate him for about three days, and when he woke up, he felt “brand new.” From then on, his treatment began, and he was well taken care of throughout his one and a half year stay.
“The food was good, the care was good, and I had great company. Singer Geosteady gave me good company because we used to spend a lot of time together,” Didi added.
The producer, known for shaping several hit songs over the years, says the rehab experience gave him a fresh outlook on life and helped him reconnect with himself and his purpose.
