Busoga Kingdom is in full celebration after His Majesty Kyabazinga William Gabula Nadiope IV and Her Royal Highness Queen Jovia Mutesi welcomed twin boys into the royal family. The princes, William Ethan Nadiope and Arnold Eli Nadiope, were born on August 27, 2025, making history as the latest heirs to the throne.
The Kyabazinga himself couldn’t hide his joy as he shared the news: “With profound joy and heartfelt gratitude, I am delighted to announce the birth of our twin sons… This double blessing is a deeply cherished milestone for our family.” Word is both the Queen and her little princes are doing perfectly fine.
Across Busoga, the news has sparked massive jubilation. Social media has already gone wild with congratulatory messages, and elders are calling this a spiritual sign of abundance for the kingdom.
For those who remember, the royal couple tied the knot in November 2023 at Christ’s Cathedral, Bugembe, Jinja City—an event that was literally a national holiday moment. That was Busoga’s first official royal wedding since 1956, attracting politicians, cultural chiefs, and half the country that flooded Jinja to witness the fairytale.
Now with twin princes, Queen Jovia’s star just keeps shining brighter. Since her marriage, she’s been actively championing cultural and social causes, while Kyabazinga Gabula, enthroned back in 2014, continues to push unity across the eleven chiefdoms of Busoga.
The kingdom has described the births as a “moment of profound joy not only for the royal family but for all Basoga.” And honestly, with two new princes added to the palace, the monarchy just got twice as strong and twice as exciting.
Busoga, your future kings are here! 🎉👑👶👶
