After days of chaos, Cashmoni Dona—the woman at the centre of the now-viral videos splashing water with rapper and designer Real Homie Quan—has finally broken her silence and did not hold back.
In an emotionally loaded statement posted to her Instagram, Cashmoni clapped back at trolls, defended her man, and declared that moments of intimacy were stolen—not staged.
“Privacy is not a privilege — it’s a right,” she began, adding that the footage was recorded “in trust” and never meant to be shared. According to her, the tapes got out after she lost her phone, and someone out there chose violence by leaking sacred moments of love between her and her husband.
Let that sink in—husband. Yup, she confirmed the rumours: she and Real Homie Quan are not just lovers, they’re married.
In the lengthy post, Cashmoni dragged critics who have been body-shaming Quan, especially those making nasty remarks about his performance and appearance in the clips.
“ Let me be clear:we did not release those clips. We don’t know who did , but the pain and disrespect are real. Those videos were personal,Intimate,Private ,captured in trust, never meant for public eyes and yet people have chosen to mock, criticize even to humiliate-especially targeting the man l love. They comment on his body ,as though love is something to be judged or sized but here’s what l know “my man is more than enough for me”,emotionally, spiritually. I am fully contented, deeply loved and completely satisfied. No one can define our connection but us . To those attempting to shame us including names being whispered like sheila price, chicken chicken-please understand you haven’t exposed us you’ve only exposed your own lack of integrity. We are not ashamed of love.we are not ashamed of intimacy. And yes, there are many clips, many memories because our love is real, vibrant and full of life. But this ends here. This is a boundary.A call of respect. Stop spreading content that was never yours to handle.
To my husband:l stand with you proudly. You are my peace,my pleasure, and my person.
To the world:
We are not embarrassed,we are human
We are not broken, we’re bonded
We will continue to love boldly, and live fully with or without your approval.Let this be a lesson in maturity, dignity, and respect.
Love should never be a crime.Privacy should never be a game“- she posted.
Cashmoni admitted there are “many clips, many memories” with her man, because their love is “real, vibrant, and full of life.” But she drew the line right there, warning that this is now a “boundary” and a “call for respect.”
