World of Sounds Concert returns to Kampala with an International Star Lineup

World of Sounds Concert in Kampala with an International Star Lineup

The World of Sounds concert is back with Season 2, dubbed the R&B Edition, happening on August 29 at the Sheraton Hotel Gardens, and if what we’re hearing is anything to go by, it’s going to be a night to remember.

The World of Sounds series is already known for bringing together different sounds, talents, and cultures under one vibey roof. From live performances to artistic displays, the show is all about immersing guests in a unique musical and creative experience.

Now if you remember, the first edition that went down on October 6, 2023 at Kampala Serena Hotel was a proper vibe. Myko Ouma led the show with his signature afro-jazz magic, and he was backed by some of the country’s finest—Jose Sax, Sewa Sewa of the Janzi, Kenneth Mugabi, and Joel Sebunjo.

Then came the pop wave with artists like Apass, Steve Keys, B2C, and Maurice Kirya adding that extra spice. But the real cherry on top? When Juliana Kanyomozi casually joined Myko Ouma on stage and lit up the crowd with Sanyu Lyange and Diana. Trust us, no one stayed seated after that.

Now here’s the juicy bit: Word on the street is that this new edition will feature an international star. The name hasn’t been revealed yet, but insiders hint it’s someone who will definitely shake up the city.

So mark your calendars. August 29. Sheraton Hotel Gardens. Expect smooth R&B vibes, a fusion of cultures, and an international act blessing the stage.

Stay locked—we’ll be back with more tea real soon.
