Talk about a promise kept! Music icon Bebe Cool officially handed over a beautiful three-bedroom house to five-year-old TikTok star Bridgette Mirembe Namiyigo and her family in Kyeguluuso village, Mubende — and honestly, we’re not crying, you are!
This touching moment comes months after Bebe Cool publicly announced that proceeds from his Tondeka E Kiwatule Boxing Day concert would go towards building Bridgette a home. That 2024 concert was even renamed to “Tondeka E Kiwatule Tuzimbire Bridgette Enyumba” — and true to his word, the man delivered!
The project was spearheaded by Bebe’s charity , Amber Heart Foundation, and construction started on January 3, 2025. Fast forward to May 14, Bridgette now lives in a solid house with her little sister Ruth and their mom, far from the shack she once called “Geyeena” (yes, she really used to call her old house “hell” in her TikTok skits).
And this wasn’t just a roof and walls kind of gift —Bebe Cool went all in. The new house sits on 25 decimals of land and came fully loaded with essentials:
-
A master bed
-
Beds for eight children
-
A full sofa set, center table
-
10 mattresses
-
Plus all the beddings
Speaking at the handover, Bebe was full of gratitude:
“I thank Allah for allowing me to do this. And I thank everyone who attended the concert and contributed — from fans to companies like Century Property Real Estates Uganda, Erianah Hardware Mubende, and DT Solar.”
He also reminded everyone that giving, no matter how small, can change lives:
“This shows that even small acts matter. Let’s keep sharing what we can.”
The event was full of joy and love, with locals, politicians, church leaders, and curious neighbors gathering to witness this emotional milestone.
