As the Ugandan Independent Electoral Commission announced its readiness for the next general elections after finalizing the roadmap, former Ugandan vice president Professor Gilbert Bukenya has prophesized MP Bobi Wine to take over state house come 2021.
As the saying goes in the Luganda language dialect “Elisso lyomukulu awaduggala wewalaba” literally meaning that in the eye sight of an elder, the blind part has the greatest focus, it seems the aging academic don might have foresighted some big political news to make headlines come 2021 as far as the history of this nation is concerned.
While being interviewed on BBS Telefayina, popularly known as ‘Mahogany’, Professor Bukenya hinted on the few prospects as to why the politician cum singer will become president in 2021.
According to the Professor, Bobi Wine has quickly grown on the political scene given his courage, young age and being visionary qualities that make him fit the President Museveni of the 1981 era.
When asked whether he will canvass votes for his former boss from Rwakitura, Bukenya has affirmed his total support allegiance for the King of Magere since he still needs nurturing from experienced politicians like him.
