DJ and media personality Etania Mutoni kicked a reveller who allegedly touched her backside twice without her consent while she performed at a Halloween event in Kyambogo on Saturday night.
In a video shared on her Snapchat, the unidentified man is seen reaching out and touching Etania as she dances. After appearing to ignore the first attempt, she reacts when he touches her again as she lowers herself towards the ground.
Etania pauses her performance, gives the man a stern look and kicks him on the shoulder before warning him against repeating the behaviour. She then continues with her performance.
Reacting to the incident on Snapchat, Etania described the behaviour as disrespectful and called on parents to raise their sons better.
“You see how disrespectful a boy child is?! Raise your kids to be better,” she wrote.
Etania joins several Ugandan entertainers, including Vinka, Sheebah and Winnie Nwagi, who have previously confronted inappropriate behaviour from fans while performing.
