Finally politician turned musician MP Bobi Wine has eaten his words not to boycott Uganda Cranes by watching the AFCON qualifiers while at home.

Months back, the Kyadondo East legislator had called upon his followers subscribed to the ‘People Power’ initiative not to boycott the Uganda Cranes qualifier match against Cape Verde following the suffocation of his Kyarenga music concert by Nambole Stadium and the government at large.

The Ugandan pop star had expressed his disagreement with the hashtag #boycottugandacranes started by a section of his frustrated fans following the cancellation of his Kyarenga concert which had originally been scheduled to take place on October 20 at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole after the stadium management confirming that the venue had been booked for a wedding reception before advising him to shift it to another date.

His promoter then had to reschedule the concert to the 9th of November in the same venue before it could also be suffocated.

Though the stadium has on Saturday 17 the November 2018 been filled to capacity as the mighty Cranes qualified for Cameroon 2019, our sources have established that the ghetto gladiator didn’t attend the special occasion but instead preferred to watch the game in his sitting room.

We are yet to establish the exact reasons as to why the legislator didn’t attend the Uganda Cranes game at Namboole Stadium.
