Coca-Cola’s Essawa Yonna Kisoboka campaign is giving young Ugandans an opportunity to showcase their creativity and win prizes through its ongoing digital content creation challenge, which recently engaged students at YMCA Buwambo Campus before heading to Makerere University.
The initiative encourages students to move beyond consuming online content and become creators by producing original videos inspired by their interests, everyday experiences and popular culture.
Participants can draw inspiration from football, music, dance, comedy, fashion, food, matchday celebrations and time spent with friends. The challenge allows young people to tell their stories in their own style while competing for cash prizes and other rewards.
The next campaign activation is scheduled for Makerere University, where more students will have an opportunity to learn about the competition, showcase their creativity and take part in the challenge.
Participants stand a chance to win weekly cash prizes and other goodies, while the leading content creator can win UGX 1 million each month, subject to the official competition terms. The monthly leaderboard considers eligible content and cumulative views, encouraging participants to remain active throughout the competition period.

Through Essawa Yonna Kisoboka, Coca-Cola is encouraging young Ugandans to turn the moments they enjoy into creative content that reflects their passions, experiences and culture.
