Ugandan singer Irene Ntale has opened up about her fertility struggles, expressing distress over social media trolls who ridicule her for not yet having a child with her husband.

In a post shared on TikTok, the singer spoke about the emotional burden of dealing with fertility challenges while facing public scrutiny over a deeply personal matter.

Ntale said she desires to become a mother but revealed that her body is not yet in a position to allow her to have children. She also expressed disappointment over the repeated comments from people who remind her that she has not given her husband a child despite their marriage.

In an emotional message, the singer described the experience as particularly difficult, saying she was doing her best to heal while also dealing with the pressure and criticism directed at her.

“Life is so weird! You wake up one day and you want to have kids and then your body isn’t in position to do it for you just yet and then you try your best and get it to heal and then while you are at it, it’s chaos and storms,” she wrote.

“People still shame you for not having Children. People really assume the position of God! Wow! God hold me! Because tonight is exceptionally difficult,” she added.

Ntale has previously spoken publicly about her health challenges, including fibroids. In an earlier revelation, she disclosed that she underwent surgery in June to remove 30 fibroids.

Her latest message highlights the emotional strain that can accompany fertility struggles, particularly when personal challenges become subjects of public discussion and online ridicule.

The singer’s experience has also renewed attention to the need for sensitivity when discussing marriage, fertility and parenthood, issues that can involve private medical circumstances outsiders may not fully understand.
