Congratulations are in order for Ugandan celebrity couple Bobi Wine and Barbie Itungo, who are celebrating a remarkable 25 years together and 15 years of holy matrimony.
The couple, who traditionally commemorate their wedding anniversary every August 27, marked the special milestone with a heartfelt message from Bobi Wine celebrating the woman he says he would choose again and again.
The two officially tied the knot in a star-studded wedding ceremony held at Rubaga Cathedral on August 27, 2011, officiated by the late Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga.
Before getting married, Bobi Wine and Barbie had reportedly been together for a decade and had already started building their family.
Taking to social media to celebrate their journey, Bobi Wine shared an emotional tribute to his wife.
“25 years of a beautiful love affair and 15 years of holy matrimony. Countless memories, smiles, tears, ups and downs—but still together. Dear Barbie, I love you more than I did 25 years ago, and if I had to do it again, I would still choose you again and again. Happy anniversary Madam First Lady.”
The couple’s relationship has remained one of Uganda’s most closely followed celebrity love stories, surviving decades of public attention while raising a family together.

Bobi Wine and Barbie are blessed with four children: Solomon Kampala, Shadrack Mbogo, Shalom Namagembe and Suubi.
