Why Eddy Kenzo Defied a Court Order and Stepped on Stage Again Making Luba Events More Angry

Big Headed award winning singer Edrisa Musuuza alias Eddy Kenzo made a contempt of court last Saturday thereby going ahead to perform at Bukedde TV’s ‘Embuutu Y’embuutikizi’ show despite a court order banning him from performing within Kampala.

The "Child of the Duck" surprised revelers as he stepped onto the stage midway Kalifah Aganaga’s performance at a few minutes past midnight to send the crowd wild in the Industrial Area performing over six of his songs for the fans who were visibly excited to see him.

What was clear to the eye was the heavy presence of bouncers who stood on either side of the stage as the 2023 Grammy Award nominee performed.

Having fallen out with events promoter, Luba Events, an interim court order was days back issued by HER WORSHIP NAKITENDE JULIET halting Young Mandela, his agents, workmen, assignees, managers, promoters, and anyone claiming under him from purporting to perform the Eddy Kenzo Festival or any musical shows/events/festival anywhere in the Republic of Uganda until the determination of a substantive Application for a Temporary Injection vide Miscellaneous Application No. 1572 of 2022.
