Wakiso Giants Beat Proline FC to Move 6th On the Table

In the only match played today Sunday 13th October, 2019 in the Star Times Uganda Premier League at Betway Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku, Wakiso Giants have beaten Proline 2:1 to move 6th on the table. 

The Purple sharks got the lead through Ssekajugo in the 7th minute but the Visitors equalized through Bright Anukani in the 39th minute. 

The match remained levelled until the stroke of full time when Abraham Nduggwa was fouled in the penalty area and referee pointed to 12 yard spot. 

Vianne Ssekajugo then scored to seal his brace and the club's 4th win of the season. The Giants have now win four matches, drawn one and lost four, scoring as many goals as conceeded- nine. 

Proline FC remain glued to the bottom of the sixteen team log with no point and -13 goal difference. 

They were docked with six points and now have no point having only won two matches.

Wakiso Giants next match is a trip to Police FC on 29th October, 2019 whereas Proline visit the same opponent earlier on Tuesday 15th October, 2019.
