Coach Ibrahim Kirya Makes A Return to Uganda Premier League Record Champions SC Villa

It has been a while since SC Villa sacked greek tactician Petros Koukouras  in June hand had since then not replaced him until Friday 9th September,2022 when the club finalized a deal with Ibrahim Kirya.

Nicknamed ‘Mucungura', the ex Jogoo ,Tooro Utd and Lweza FC tactician is set to be unveiled as head coach, returning to a side he also managed in 2015.


The ex-Nile FC,UMEME SC and SC Villa workaholic player in the 90s, Kirya has been named SC Villa tactician replacing interim Jackson Magera, who will deputize the former.

Kirya who also coached Gomba FC in Masaza Cup is set to be unveiled to the Club fans on Sunday 11th, September,2022 at Villa Park by the club president HajjOmarMandela .

He was in charge of the SC Villa side that won the 2015 Uganda Cup title, the club’s last silverware, hammering arch rivals KCCA FC 3-0 in a recap of the abandoned 'Ntungamo ' fixture with goals from veteran striker Augustine Nsumba, Waibi Jether and youngstar Kasule Abdulkarim at Namboole stadium.
