Vipers SC Bids Farewell to Captain Halid Lwaliwa Who Joined Macedonian Side

It is no longer rumors any more after it was confirmed that the former Vipers SC captain is a new signing of Macedonian side Bregalnica football club.

The club through its social media has posted congratulating the center back upon the new deal landed and thanked him for his devoted service to the club.

“Our Captain Fantastic Halid Lwaliwa has today completed a permanent transfer to North Macedonian side, FK Bregalnica Stip.

Upon leaving the five time Uganda Premier League champions, the club posted announcing a new club captain in Milton Kaliisa.

Vipers SC and Uganda Cranes forward Milton Karisa has been named as the new captain taking over from captain fantastic Halid Lwaliwa.

Overall, he won the latter in each of 2014/15, 2017/18, 2019/20 and 2021/22 Uganda Premier League campaigns.

A graduate of St. Mary’s Youth football academy, Halid Lwaliwa spent eight years at the Kitende based side and guided them two Uganda Cup triumphs, in 2016 and most recently in 2021.

Halid has helped Vipers SC to winning four of the club’s five Uganda Premier League titles in 2014/15, 2017/18, 2019/20 and 2021/22 Campaigns.
