Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago Parades Off His New Car, Upgrades from 2012 Land Rover to a Land Cruiser V8

Kampala City Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago has paraded off his new official car, a Land cruiser V8 hybrid worth UGX 336Million with a customized number plate that has left tongues wagging.

Social media has been covered with a photo of Lukwago’s new ride taken from the parking at City Hall leaving everyone talking.

Over the past few months, Erias Lukwago has been riding in a 2012 model Land Rover Discovery 4 since 2012 and many have been wondering why the government is taking too long to buy the Lord Mayor a new official car.

We can now confirm that Lukwago has joined the list of top officials to receive new rides. The Land Cruiser hybrid is a state-of-the-art car that is worth every penny spent.

The base model Land Cruiser hybrid costs around $85,655 minus taxes. The monster ride is outfitted with a 381-horsepower V8 engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel drive.
