Mbarara City have announced the arrival of experienced midfielder Ndugga Lawrance on a two year contract. On the same day, the club also announced the signing of Bright Stars’ forward Nvule Jamil Kisitu on the same day.

Ndugga has previously played for Orapa United Kira Young, BUL FC, Nkwazi FC (Zambia) and Sharp shooting Stars (Botswana) among others but also had a stint in Cyprus.
Mbarara City FC finished 15th on a sixteen team log with 26 points from six wins and seven draws and were relegated to the second division, the FUFA Big League.
The two signings join new recruits Manja Mori Wycliffe, Jungu Methiodius,Musisi Henry Muyomba,Opio Daniel,Kizza Isaac,Brian Oyuka, Mugweri Johnny Rubi and Kyeyune Med in a bid to help the “Ankole Lions” get promoted from the Big League.
