National Unity Platform (NUP) leader, Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu aka Bobi Wine has vowed to become even stronger until they take over the leadership of this country while unveiling land where they're to build new headquarters.
Bobi Wine unveiled new party headquarters in Bwaise, Kawempe Division claiming Kamwokya had become small for them yet they have bigger plans.
“Many people were doubting us, they were calling us a ‘wave’. Whatever you call us, I want to inform you that we are here to stay. We are doing this to show that even though this idea started with me, it is not mine alone. This is now your home. It is the headquarters of the incoming government,” Bobi Wine said.
He further noted that the reason why they have chosen to shift to Kavule, which also is in Bwaise, is because they don’t want to abandon the ghetto children.
Very pleased today to lay the foundation stone for the establishment of the @NUP_Ug headquarters in Bwaise, Kavule. Those who dismissed us as a mere wave will soon realise that we are a serious group, committed to leading the liberation struggle to its accomplishment. pic.twitter.com/7lTfJjaM2g
