Celebrated Luganda news anchor Frank Walusimbi has confirmed his new juicy job as the Associate Communications Officer at United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, UNHCR shortly after quitting from NTV Uganda.

UNHCR is a UN refugee agency operating its duties in Uganda and its where the former 'NTV Akawungeezi' news anchor will be executing his duties as a public relations officer.

A fortnight ago, Frank Walusimbi resigned his duties at the Serena based NTV Uganda and despite bidding an emotional farewell to his fans and workmates, the later left folks speculating about his next move in life.

Over the weekend, Walusimbi through his socials officially revealed how he had hooked up a new role as an Associate Communications Officer at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)

"This is to let you know that I took on a new role as Associate Communications Officer at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, UNHCR - the UN refugee agency in Uganda.

For some days now, I have been fathoming out the appreciation and best wishes you sent out to me when I announced that I had ceased my duties at NTV Uganda.

Words alone cannot express my gratitude. My new role is spanned by humanitarian work and I invite you to contact us should you have an inquiry about refugee matters. I thank you all. Best wishes."- Frank Walusimbi

Walusimbi will be overseeing a new Humanitarian role at UNHCR and has since called upon folks to.embrace his new challenge by getting in contact with him in matters related to refugees.
